Corpus Christi wade fishing
Wade fishing Baffin Bay is something you have to experience – especially during the winter. Get in the water and battle the fish in their element. Wade fishing is more active and adventurous, exciting and effective.
We’ll be targeting trophy trout and redfish using artificial lures, or bait if preferred. We always encourage catch and release, especially with the larger fish. You can also store your catch in a net bag to enjoy for dinner. Our Baffin Bay wade fishing trips are offered year round and are tailored to meet your groups needs.
Vagabond Flats offers multi-boat trips for large groups and corporate events. Capt. Grady is also available for fishing tournaments.
rates
Rates begin at $850. These trips last up to 7 hours, until your group has limited out or are done fishing. There is an extra charge for bait.
Deposit
A $200 deposit is required to reserve the date. Cancellation due to weather conditions or unforeseen complications are at the discretion of the Captain. In such cases, deposits will be refunded or held to reserve rescheduled date.
cancellations
Non-weather related cancellations require at least 14 days notice. Cancellations within 14 days will result in full deposit charge for the charter.
gear
Rods, reels, tackle and lures will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own gear. You will need to bring your own waders and wading boots.
personal items
A Texas Saltwater Fishing License is required of any angler 17 and older. Sunglasses (preferably polarized) and sunscreen are critical. Please wear a hat, proper attire, buff, sun gloves, and non-scuffing deck or boat shoes. Waders and/or wading boots if necessary.
additional items
Feel free to bring any personal food or drink you would like. If your group would like to keep fish, please bring a cooler for your cleaned fish.
All captains/guides under Vagabond Flats, LLC are USCG licensed and have obtained a TPWD Guides License.
Please note, rates do not include gratuity.
All must agree to our safety waiver before the trip begins.
